Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 59-01 for publication costs for notices of delinquent land tax foreclosures and sales; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be awarded to The Daily Record of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effect said award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
