WHEREAS, the County and Kansas City Free Health Clinic desire to enter into an Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will contract for services with the Clinic in the amount of $152,859.00 to be used by the Clinic to provide a variety of health care services to indigent residents of Jackson County, Missouri; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the contract between Jackson County and Kansas City Free Health Clinic be, and is hereby approved, said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
