A RESOLUTION awarding a term-and-supply contract on Bid No. 28-02 for the furnishing of T-shirts and wearing apparel for use by various departments to Raytown Screen Printing of Raytown, MO ($44,640.45), Executive Marketing Promotions of Kansas City, MO ($11,065.40), and Business by Promotion of Independence, MO ($1,642.25), to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated aggregate amount of $57,348.10.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 28-02 for the furnishing of T-shirts and wearing apparel for use by various departments; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards for the respective vendors as follows:

Raytown Screen Printing $44,640.45
Raytown, MO
Executive Marketing Promotions $11,065.40
Kansas City (Platte County), MO
Business by Promotion $1,642.25
Independence, MO
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
