Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 7668, dated November 28, 1988, enter into a contract with Intergraph Corporation for the maintenance and service of proprietary mapping hardware and software in the Assessment Department, in the amount of $28,548.00; and,
WHEREAS, this contract has been extended on an annual basis since that time; and,
WHEREAS, the County now desires to extend this service contract as necessary to provide continued maintenance for the year 2002, and the cost of this extension will not exceed $14,311.92; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the necessary documents on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
