Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 1102 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of hazardous materials abatement for use countywide; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
BRAL Environmental Services, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri

Environmental Specialists, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be made to BRAL Environmental Services, Inc., of Kansas City, Missouri, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
