A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council to provide a variety of aging programs and services to the citizens of Jackson County through the Westport Cooperative Services at a cost to the County not to exceed $25,600.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) desire to enter into an Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County will pay $25,600.00 to MARC to be used by MARC to provide a variety of aging programs and services, to the citizens of Jackson County, under a subcontract with Westport Cooperative Services; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
