Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13260, dated June 26, 2000, the Legislature did award a contract under RFP 21-00 for the furnishing of interactive internet purchasing service to Syscom of Baltimore, Maryland, with Sicommnet of San Diego, CA, as its subcontractor providing the interactive services; and,
WHEREAS, the partnership between Syscom and Sicommnet has been dissolved; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director now recommends a contract with Sicommnet of San Diego, CA, to enable continued use of the interactive internet purchasing service; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Sicommnet of San Diego, CA as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to negotiate a suitable contract with Sicommnet and execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
