Body
WHEREAS, the County and Historic Northeast Restoration Corporation desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County will pay Historic Northeast Restoration Corporation $95,000.00 to be used to assist in the revitalization and redevelopment of the Northeast area of Kansas City, MO, along Independence Avenue from The Paseo on the west to Interstate 435 on the east; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
