Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 141-99 for the repair and replacement of doors at the Independence Courthouse annex; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

Overhead Door Company $15,175.00
N. Kansas City, MO
Omega Door $15,960.00
Riverside, MO
Southtown Glass $16,525.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Omega Door, of Riverside, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
