WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal bids under Electronic Solicitation No. BB200483 for the furnishing of security cameras for use by the Facilities Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following;
VENDOR BID
North American Video $15,030.00
Brick, NJ
Perlmutter Purchasing $15,234.50
San Diego, CA
Allied Safe $15,447.20
Spokane, WA
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to North American Video of Brick, N.J., for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to North American Video of Brick, N.J., in the estimated amount not to exceed $15,030.00 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
