A RESOLUTION awarding a twenty-four month term and supply contract on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20037 for the furnishing of armored car service for use by various county departments to PSI Armored, Inc., of Topeka, KS ($44,926.00) and Loomis Fargo of Riverside, MO ($13,728.00), to provide for departmental needs, in the actual aggregate amount of $58,654.00 per year.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20037 for the furnishing of armored car service for use by various county departments to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming twenty four-month period; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the actual awards for the respective vendors as follows:

Topeka, KS
Loomis Fargo & Company $13,728.00
Riverside, MO
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
