Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14866, dated January 12, 2004, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute Agreements with certain organizations which provide assistance to homeless persons, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $718,555.00; and,
WHEREAS, Newhouse of Kansas City, MO, is an authorized provider of assistance to homeless persons by Resolution 14866; and,
WHEREAS, an increase of $3,008.00 to the previously approved amount of $15,000.00 for Newhouse of Kansas City, MO, by Resolution 14866 is recommended by the Housing Resources Commission to cover additional expenses and services, for a total amount not to exceed $18,008.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute an Addendum to Agreement, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
