Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has solicited informal proposals for the furnishing of four (4) cast bronze plaques; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon proposals from the following:
Vendor Bid
Eligius Bronze $1,864.80
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Livers Bronze $1,944.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the proposals submitted, which generally comply with the County's purchasing guidelines, the Purchasing Director has recommended that a contract be awarded to Eligius Bronze of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best proposal; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
