Body
WHEREAS, Resolution #13209 authorized a contract in the amount of $12,000 to Chicago Title Insurance Company under Bid No. 52-00 for the furnishing of title searches for use by the Collection Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, the contract as awarded needs to be increased to provide title searches for additional parcels; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that the contract be increased by $3,350 to cover the title searches for the additional parcels; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the contract with Chicago Title be increased by $3,350 to provide for additional title searches for a total new contract amount of $5,350.00 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
