Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14386, dated November 25, 2002, the Legislature authorized twelve-month term and supply contracts with Controlled Environmental Products (CEP) of Kansas City, MO, Ecolab, Inc., of St. Paul, MN, and All American Poly of Piscataway, NJ, for the furnishing of janitorial supplies for use by various County departments in the estimated aggregate amount of $145,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, as authorized by the contract, the Director of Purchasing extended the contracts for an additional one year period from December 3, 2003 to December 2, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends an increase to the contract with Controlled Environmental Products (CEP) of Kansas City, MO, in the estimated annual amount of $61,277.25, for a revised estimate aggregate total not to exceed $206,277.25 for the contract period beginning December 3, 2002, and ending December 2, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, this increase is necessary to meet higher volume of usage and additional purchases through the extended contract term; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the contract with Controlled Environmental Products (CEP) of Kansas City, MO, be and hereby is increased in the estimated amount of $61,277.25 for an estimated aggregate contract cost to the County not to exceed $206,277.25; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the current County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
