Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 42-04 for the furnishing of shelving for use by the Records Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
Vendor
WareStar, Inc.
Lenexa, KS
Siggins
N. Kansas City, MO
Bommarito
St. Louis, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends that award be made to WareStar, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to WareStar, Inc. in the amount of $23,700.00 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
