Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200270 for the printing and mailing of joint government tax bills, paid tax receipts, and envelopes for use by the Collection Department; and,

 

WHEREAS, he has received, as the only responsive bid thereon, a bid from Straham Automation of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Strahm Automation of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
