WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has received responses to RFP 21-00 for the furnishing of interactive internet purchasing services for use by the Purchasing Department; and,
WHEREAS, responses to RFP 21-00 were received from the following:
RESPONDENTS
Syscom
Baltimore, Maryland
Way2Bid
Springfield, MO
Digital Commerce Corporation
Reston, Virginia
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Syscom of Baltimore, Maryland, for the reason that its response would best suit the County's needs; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Syscom of Baltimore, Maryland as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to negotiate a suitable contract with Syscom and execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
