Body
WHEREAS, the County and Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) desire to enter into a Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will pay MARC $55,000.00 to provide for a teenage pregnancy program and a recreational and athletic program; and,
WHEREAS, under the Agreement MARC is authorized to subcontract with the Guadalupe Center for an amount not to exceed $55,000.00 to fund the Center's Westside teen pregnancy program and recreational and athletic program; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
