WHEREAS, it was with great sorrow that family and friends learned of the death of Steve A. Como; and,
WHEREAS, Steve was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri, and a strong political activist in this area; and,
WHEREAS, Steve served as president of the United Citizens Democratic Committee and was active in various political activities; and,
WHEREAS, he was a member of St. Bernadette's Church, the Knights of Columbus, and Teamsters Locals 541 and 41; and,
WHEREAS, Steve is survived by his wife, Josephine, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mike Donnici, son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Janet Como, daughter, Debbie Como, and three grandchildren; and,
WHEREAS, Steve will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby extends its deepest sympathy to family and friends of Steve A. Como, upon the occasion of his untimely death.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
