A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 31-00 for the furnishing of recycled and OEM printer and toner cartridges for use by various County departments to World Wide Computer Supplies of Voorhees, NJ, in the actual amount of $10,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 31-00 for the furnishing of recycled and OEM printer and toner cartridges for use by various County departments; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR
World Wide Computer Supplies
Voorhees, NJ
Chemstat Products
Westbury, NY
Laser Equipment
Lenexa, KS
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to World Wide Computer Supplies of Voorhees, NJ, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached analysis; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.

Fiscal Note
This award is made on a need basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases will, of necessity, be determined as each using agency places its order, with certification made at that time within amounts previously budgeted for the spending agency.
