Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County desire to enter into a contract whereby the Conservation District will undertake conservation efforts which inure to the benefit and preservation of the road and bridge rights of way in Jackson County at a cost to Jackson County not to exceed $19,092.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the contract between Jackson County and Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County be, and is hereby approved, said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
