Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 5-04 for the furnishing of title searches for use by the Collection Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only bid thereon a bid from Golden Shield of Grain Valley, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Golden Shield of Grain Valley, MO , for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are included in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
