Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. BB200376 for the furnishing of trash removal service for use county-wide to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each location to be served; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the actual awards for the respective vendors as follows:

Deffenbaugh Industries, Inc. $70,000.00
Shawnee, KS
Allied Services, LLC dba BFI of Kansas City $15,000.00
Independence, MO
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract
