WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200334 for publication costs for notices of delinquent land tax foreclosures and sales; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only three bids thereon, bids from the following:

and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be awarded to The Examiner of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effect said award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
