Body
WHEREAS, the County and Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) desire to enter into a Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will pay MARC $15,000.00 to provide for a recreational and athletic program; and,
WHEREAS, under the Agreement MARC is authorized to subcontract with the Guadalupe Center for an amount not to exceed $15,000.00 to fund the Center's Westside teen recreational and athletic program; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is authorized to execute the attached Agreement with MARC and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
