RESOLUTION NO. 22315, June 15, 2026

 

INTRODUCED BY Donna Peyton, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department is need of professional services in support of the ongoing maintenance, configuration, optimization, and enhancements of the County’s Workday Enterprise Resource Planning platform; and,

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.2, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract, with one (1) twelve-month option to extend, to Remy Corporation of Denver, CO for Workday professional services, under the terms and conditions of State of Oklahoma contract number SW1025; and,

 

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation with an estimated usage of $650,000.00; now therefore,

 

 

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Interim Director is hereby authorized to execute a User Agreement with the Remy Corporation of Denver, CO, and any other documents necessary to give effect to the intent of this Resolution, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current County budget.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.

This award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases will, of necessity, be determined as each agency places its order, with an estimated usage of $650,000.00.
