WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200130 for the furnishing of HVAC filters for use by the Facilities Management Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received, as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Kansas City Air Filter Company, of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that, while not the lowest bidder, it has submitted the lowest and best bid in compliance with the bids specifications, as set forth in the attached analysis; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson C...
