Body
WHEREAS, Brandy Maltbia Woodley has made history as the first African American to serve on the Park Hill School Board, an achievement that underscores her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education; and,

WHEREAS, Ms. Woodley's current term will continue until 2024, providing ample opportunity for her to make a positive impact on the Park Hill School District and the students it serves; and,

WHEREAS, Ms. Woodley's professional background is diverse and impressive, with a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a French minor from Northwest Missouri State University, and experience working in the business world at Farmland Industries, Inc., and Sprint Corporation; and,

WHEREAS, Ms. Woodley has devoted her career to education and entrepreneurship, serving as an adjunct instructor at Upper Iowa University and Central Texas College, and operating as the sole proprietor and Chief Executive Officer of Soaring Dove Enterprises for thirteen years, providing various documentation services, resumes, career coaching, and editing; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Woodley has contributed significantly to military families, partnering with the CEO of MOCHA Enterprises on projects and ventures, and most notably as the editor-in-chief for Army Spouse Magazine; and,

WHEREAS, Ms. Woodley's current role as the editor for the Department of Military History at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, is a culmination of her gratifying career pivots of editing, Army, and education; and,
