Jackson County Code, 1984, relating to County indigent cremations and  
enacting, in lieu thereof, four new sections relating to the same subject.

FINAL PASSAGE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES  
AN ORDINANCE transferring $190,000.00 within the 2022 County  
Improvement Fund, appropriating $950,000.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund, and authorizing the County Executive to  
execute a Program Agreement with the Missouri Highways and  
Transportation Commission.

A RESOLUTION awarding a twelve-month term and supply contract with one  
twelve-month option to extend for the maintenance and repair of heavy  
equipment, for use by the Public Works Department to G.W. Van Keppel of

A RESOLUTION awarding contracts for the replacement of roofs on park  
structures for use by the Parks + Rec Department to Construction  
Management Services of Olathe, KS, and Blue Chip Roofing of Kansas  
City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 52-22, at an  
actual aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $149,703.00.

A RESOLUTION awarding a thirty-four month term and supply contract for  
the maintenance and repair of fire suppression systems for use by the  
Facilities Management Division of the Public Works Department, to  
Johnson Controls of Lenexa, KS, under the terms and conditions set forth in  
Sourcewell Contract No. 030421-JHN, an existing competitively-bid  
contract.

A RESOLUTION transferring $130,000.00 within the 2022 Anti-Crime Sales  
Tax Fund to cover the increased cost of gasoline for use by the Jackson  
County Drug Task Force.

closed meeting on Monday, July 11, 2022, for the purpose of conducting  
privileged and confidential communications between itself and the Jackson

Missouri, and closing all records prepared for discussion at said meeting.

A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Counselor to settle the claims of  
William Stewart, Sr., in the case styled William Stewart, Sr. v. Jackson  
County, Missouri, et al., now pending in the U.S. District Court for the  
Western District of Missouri, Case No. 4:21-cv-00735, for a total payment  
by the County of $13,000.00.
