an actual cost to the County in the amount of $35,670.00, as a sole source  
purchase.

balance of the 2022 County Improvement Fund and awarding a contract for  
the design and construction of the Jacomo Campground Wastewater

of Blue Springs, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No.  
91-22, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $929,359.00.

FINAL PASSAGE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES  
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $613,790.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund and awarding a contract for the design and  
construction of a new bridge in connection with Federal Project No.  
BRO-B048(56), South Miller Road Bridge, County Project No. 3214, to  
Radmacher Brothers Excavating Company, Inc., of Pleasant Hill, MO, at an  
actual cost to the County not to exceed $613,790.00, under the terms and  
conditions of Invitation to Bid 76-22.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $373,933.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 County Improvement Fund and $228,000.00 from the  
undesignated fund balance of the 2022 General Fund to provide for  
installation of technology, HVAC repairs, and operating costs relating to the  
remodeling of the new Jackson County Administration Building to be  
provided by existing County term and supply vendors.

A RESOLUTION transferring $78,417.00 within the 2022 General Fund to  
cover unanticipated budgetary shortfalls within the Sheriff Office’s Jackson  
County Detention Center budget.

maintenance services for the COMBAT Community CareLink and COMBAT  
Connections databases for use by the COMBAT staff to First Call

the amount of $170,500.00 for 2023, as a sole source purchase.

INTRODUCTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES AND ASSIGNMENT TO COMMITTEE  
AN ORDINANCE transferring $30,983.00 within the 2022 General Fund and  
appropriating $284,039.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2022  
Anti-Crime Sales Tax Fund in acceptance of Jackson County’s portion of  
the City of Kansas City, Missouri’s 2020 JAG grant awarded by the United  
States Department of Justice.

AN ORDINANCE transferring $15,261.00 within the 2022 General Fund and  
appropriating $688,516.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2022  
Grant Fund in acceptance of the 2021 JAG Grant awarded to the  
Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $185,204.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 County Improvement Fund and awarding a contract on  
Invitation to Bid No. 89-22 for the Ryan Road Culvert Replacement Project,  
No. 3168, to Radmacher Brothers Excavating Co., Inc., of Pleasant Hill, MO,  
at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $965,092.00, and authorizing  
the Director of Public Works to approve line item adjustments under this  
contract at no additional cost to the County.

INTRODUCTION OF PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS AND ASSIGNMENT TO COMMITTEE  
A RESOLUTION authorizing the Jackson County Legislature to hold a  
closed meeting on Monday, October 31, 2022, for the purpose of conducting  
privileged and confidential communications between itself and the Jackson  
County Counselor under section 610.021(1) of the Revised Statutes of  
Missouri, and closing all records prepared for discussion at said meeting.

A RESOLUTION awarding a twelve-month term and supply contract with one  
twelve-month option to extend for the furnishing of irrigation equipment,  
parts, and service for use by the Parks + Rec Department to Turfwerks

A RESOLUTION requesting the County Administration to explore a  
partnership with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and its City Manager to  
jointly provide effective detention and rehabilitation services on the new  
Jackson County Detention Center campus.  
A RESOLUTION approving the settlement of the claims of Stanion  
Wholesale Electric Co., Inc., in the case styled Stanion Wholesale Electric  
Co., Inc. v. R.F. Fisher Electric Co., LLC et al, No. 2016-CV12845, now  
pending in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, for a total payment  
by the County of $29,500.00.
