FINAL PASSAGE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES  
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $11,302.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Park Fund and authorizing the County Executive to  
execute an easement in favor of Beazer East, Inc., of Pittsburgh, PA, to  
allow for a permanent access easement across a portion of the Rock Island  
Rail Corridor.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $16,500.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund and authorizing the Director of Public  
Works to execute a Supplemental Agreement to the Engineering Services  
Contract with Anderson Engineering, Inc., of Kansas City, MO for the  
Federal Project BRO-B048(59), at an additional cost to the County not to  
exceed $16,500.00.

RESOLUTIONS IN COMMITTEE  
A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Program  
Agreement with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for  
childcare sanitation inspections, with reimbursed costs to be paid to the  
County.

A RESOLUTION transferring $36,796.00 within the 2022 Anti-Crime Sales  
Tax Fund and awarding a contract for the furnishing of software maintenance  
services for the COMBAT website for use by the COMBAT staff to CivicPlus  
of Manhattan, KS, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of  
$36,796.00, as a sole source purchase.

INTRODUCTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES AND ASSIGNMENT TO COMMITTEE  
AN ORDINANCE repealing schedule I to chapter 2, Jackson County Code,  
1984, relating to County associates not within the Merit System, and  
enacting, in lieu thereof, one new schedule relating to the same subject.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $49,698.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund in acceptance of funds received from the  
Federal Emergency Management Agency relating to the 2019 Levasy flood  
and authorizing the Director of Finance and Purchasing to issue a check in  
the amount of $49,698.00 to the Tri-City Water Authority.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $613,790.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund and awarding a contract for the design and  
construction of a new bridge in connection with Federal Project No.  
BRO-B048(56), South Miller Road Bridge, County Project No. 3214, to  
Radmacher Brothers Excavating Company, Inc., of Pleasant Hill, MO, at an  
actual cost to the County not to exceed $613,790.00, under the terms and  
conditions of Invitation to Bid 76-22.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $15,538.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 Grant Fund, representing a reimbursement of funds  
used to purchase and install necessary law enforcement accessories on a  
police vehicle for use by the Sheriff’s Office, received pursuant to a Missouri  
Department of Transportation Highway Safety and Traffic Division  
Hazardous Moving Violation grant.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $373,933.00 from the undesignated fund  
balance of the 2022 County Improvement Fund and $228,000.00 from the  
undesignated fund balance of the 2022 General Fund to provide for  
installation of technology, HVAC repairs, and operating costs relating to the  
remodeling of the new Jackson County Administration Building to be  
provided by existing County term and supply vendors.

INTRODUCTION OF PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS AND ASSIGNMENT TO COMMITTEE  
A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a  
Supplemental Agreement to the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement  
with the Mid-America Regional Council to participate in the second phase of  
the Little Blue River Watershed Feasibility Study, at no cost to the County for  
2022 and a total cost to the County in the amount of $244,444.00.

A RESOLUTION transferring $26,000.00 within the 2022 General Fund,  
$25,700.00 within the 2022 Health Fund, $73,000.00 within the 2022 Park  
Fund, $85,000.00 within the 2022 Special Road & Bridge Fund, and  
$90,010.00 within the 2022 Assessment Fund to cover unanticipated  
budgetary shortfalls within the Jackson County Enterprise vehicle lease  
program.

electronic reporting and criminal investigation system subscription services  
and annual software maintenance for use by the Sheriff’s Office to

amount of $1,878.00 for 2022, and a total three-year cost of $34,000.00, as  
a sole source purchase.
