was specifically asked all these questions during past legislative meetings
at which time Mr. Clifford said he would need to get with HR and other
departments to get answers. He said the game Mr. Clifford is playing, to
write 15 paragraphs and send it to the County Legislature minutes before
the meeting, is ridiculous and unacceptable. Chairman McGee agreed
that this was unacceptable because the report was sent to the County
Legislature two minutes before the legislative meeting. In addition, the
County Executive is not available to answer any questions the legislators
may have regarding the report.

PERFECTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES AND REPORTS OF COMMITTEE
AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 5577., Jackson County Code, 1984,
relating to possession of firearms and age restriction, and to enact in lieu
thereof two new sections, Sections 5577. and 5578., relating to the same
subject, with a severability clause and a penalty provision.
