The County Legislature will have a public hearing regarding Ordinances

Community Mental Health Fund Levy, the Jackson County Board of Services  
for the Developmentally Disabled (Sheltered Workshop) Levy and the  
Jackson County, Missouri tax levy.

A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive or the Chairman of the  
Legislature to sell the County-owned property located at 1300 Washington  
Street, Kansas City, MO 64105 via the competitive bidding process.

A RESOLUTION expressing the intent of the Legislature to work with the  
County Executive to develop a plan to commit federal American Rescue  
Plan (ARPA) funds and begin the required procurement process to ensure  
funds are under contract by the end of 2024.

A RESOLUTION expressing the support of the Jackson County Legislature  
for a contribution to the City of Raymore, Missouri to offset the cost of  
settling the dispute regarding a landfill to be built in south Kansas City.

A RESOLUTION expressing the intent of the Legislature to develop a plan  
with County Administration, the County Counselor’s Office, and the Taxing  
Jurisdictions to address 2023 tax assessment concerns.

A RESOLUTION awarding a thirty-six-month term and supply contract, with  
two twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of lockbox services for  
use by the Collection Department to UMB Bank of Kansas City, MO, under  
the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 23-084.  
A RESOLUTION awarding a nine-month term and supply contract for the  
furnishing of temporary staffing for use by various departments to Robert  
Half International Inc. of Menlo Park, California under the terms and  
conditions of H-GACBuy Contract TS06-21 and MARC ILA #04-1443, an  
existing competitively bid government contract.  
A RESOLUTION awarding a contract for the purchase of a 2024 Ford  
Transit T-350 Cargo Van for use by the Sheriff’s Office to MCMFO, LLC  
d/b/a Joe Machens Ford Lincoln of Columbia, MO, under the terms and  
conditions of State of Missouri Contract No. CC240138008, an existing  
competitively bid government contract, at an actual cost to the County in the  
amount of $57,540.00.  
A RESOLUTION awarding a twelve-month contract for the furnishing of  
maintenance services for the Oak Grove and Lone Jack, MO  
communication tower subsites for use by the Sheriff’s Office to Motorola  
Solutions, Inc. of Chicago, IL, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of  
$85,002.00 for 2024, as a sole source purchase.  
A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Counselor to execute a  
twelve-month Legal Services Agreement with Cheri Simpkins of Lee’s  
Summit, MO, under the terms and conditions of Request for Qualifications  
No. 24-060, at a cost to the County of $600.00 per day not to exceed  
$60,000.00.  
A RESOLUTION transferring $200,000.00 within the 2024 Self-Insurance  
Fund and awarding a twelve-month contract with four twelve month options  
to extend for the furnishing of a broker for property insurance for use by the  
Finance Department to Lockton Companies of Kansas City, MO, under the  
terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No.24-066, at an actual cost  
to the County in the amount of $2,575,950.00.

AN ORDINANCE transferring $160,000.00 within and appropriating  
$350,447.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2024 Grant Fund, in  
acceptance of the 2024 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant  
awarded to the Jackson County Drug Task Force.

City, MO, for the furnishing of employee group health insurance as an  
employee benefit for use countywide.

Statute § 537.080 wrongful death class members, and W. BENJAMIN  
KASEY, as personal representative of the Estate of George Taylor, now  
pending in Federal Court of United States District Court Western Missouri,
