Body
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, Missouri Water Department is requesting a permanent water line utility easement of 2,000 square feet across a portion of the Rock Island Corridor and 350 Highway; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has determined that the permanent water line utility easement will have no adverse effect on the use of the corridor; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City will pay the County the sum of $2,400.00 for the easement which includes the $2,000.00 administrative fee and .20/square foot easement fee of $400.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, the permanent utility easement is hereby approved, and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the easement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
