Body
WHEREAS, the Compliance Review Office has a need to utilize annual software maintenance services on the proprietary software used to oversee compliance requirements related to the prevailing wage law; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing and the Legislative Auditor recommend the award of a contract for software maintenance and compliance for use by the Compliance Review Office to LCP Tracker of Orange, CA, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of $13,850.00, as a sole source purchase; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislative Auditor and Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the purchase of the required maintenance services from LCP Tracker of Orange, CA, as a sole source purchase, because LCP Tracker provides a portal in which contractors are able to submit weekly payroll; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the award be made as recommended by the Legislative Auditor and Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
