Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Drug Task Force (JCDTF) is in possession of certain vehicles that are no longer needed by the JCDTF, as further described and itemized in the attached declaration form; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Drug Task Force has recommended the transfer of the specified 2011 Nissan Armada, 2016 Ford Explorer, and 2018 Chevrolet Malibu to the Sheriff’s Office; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the property within the JCDTF further described and itemized in the attached declaration form, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to transfer it as indicated and as provided for in Chapter 10, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
