Body
WHEREAS, the National Institute for Construction Excellence (NICE) Annual Awards Luncheon will celebrate women in the construction field, and the historic construction of the first stadium built for a women's professional sports team, coming to Berkley Riverfront Park in Downtown Kansas City; and,

WHEREAS, the NICE luncheon includes a keynote panel of women construction experts, Courtney Kounkel of Monarch Build, Cassie Morrison of J.E. Dunn Construction, Christina Franklin of Generator Studio, Kathleen Morrow, Tradeswoman, and Allison Howard, President, of Kansas City Current; and,

WHEREAS, the keynote panel is moderated by Bridgette Williams, Executive Director of the Heavy Constructors Association of Greater Kansas City (HCAGKC), a respected force in the regions' construction industry, and the first female and first African American to lead the 68-year-old HCAGKC, and among the first in the country to head a major contractor's association; and,


WHEREAS, the Heavy Constructors Association and the Board of Directors are presenting sponsors for the Annual Awards Luncheon, Tuesday, October 17, 2023; and,
