Body
WHEREAS, LM2 Construction & Consulting, a 100% Black Women-Owned General Contractor, will have a renovation kickoff party on Thursday, September 21, 2023, for its new headquarters, located at 9000 Santa Fe Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64138; and,
WHEREAS, LaTasha McCall, LM2 Founder and President, expresses the importance of moving her business back to the community where she grew up; and,
WHEREAS, the kickoff party will include a disc jockey, food trucks and much more to celebrate the renovation of its office space with an open kitchen design, conference rooms, training room, media room, wellness room, and outdoor recreation space; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Legislature hereby expresses its heartfelt congratulations to LM2 on this momentous occasion and extends our best wishes for continued success and prosperity in their new headquarters.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
