Body
WHEREAS, Resolution 21294 authorized the Chairman of the Legislature to execute an Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) to conduct a training workshop for the County Legislature and legislative staff; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose of the workshop is to set organizational priorities for the Legislature and build effective relationships among the legislators and legislative staff; and,
WHEREAS, MARC has the need to subcontract with vendors for services to supplement goal setting activities for the workshop agenda, at a cost to the County not to exceed $4,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Chairman of the Legislature be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached First Amendment to the Training Program Agreement with MARC, at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $4,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
