Body
WHEREAS, the County is partnering with the Pro X Program, an initiative of Real World Learning and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, to provide high school students with valuable summer professional experience through a five-week paid summer internship, allowing students to gain practical skills and insights into various industries; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to commend and recognize the outstanding interns who have joined the County through the Pro X Program, namely Adaryan Williams, Ebrimah Jallow, Kingston Del Cid, and Brittany Zamora-Mendoza for their exemplary dedication and contributions to the community; and,

WHEREAS, Adaryan Williams, a freshman from J.C. Harmon High School, has chosen to work with the County Legislature, driven by his passion for the outdoors and his determination to take on new challenges; and,

WHEREAS, Ebrimah Jallow, a sophomore at Raytown South High School and an accomplished junior varsity football team captain, brings his technological acumen and enthusiasm for community service to his role in the County Legislature; and,

WHEREAS, Kingston Del Cid, a junior at Rockhurst High School, has displayed his talents in music, particularly as a trombone player and member of the Kansas City Youth Symphony, and his interest in cinematography, while also harboring aspirations to pursue a career in the medical or physical therapy fields; and,

WHEREAS, Brittany Zamora-Mendoza, a junior at Shawnee Mission South High School, enjoys practicing violin, playing soccer, competing in speech and debate, and learning new languages; now therefore,
