AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 5.00± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette).

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and “RR” (Residential Ranchette) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR, a tract of land located in the 32700 block of Colbern Road, in Jackson County, legally described as follows:

 

Part of the East 24 Acres of the West 60 Acres of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 26, Range 30, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the East 24 Acres of the West 60 Acres of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 26, Range 30; thence North 01 degrees 49 minutes 55 seconds East, 743.47 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 01 degrees 49 minutes 55 seconds East, 537.33 feet to a Point on the side line of Colbern Road; thence along the south line of said road, South 87 degrees 48 minutes 59 seconds East, 466.02 feet; thence S 02 degrees 14 minutes 55 seconds West, 401.36 feet; thence South 75 degrees 47 minutes 37 seconds West, 481.84 to the Point of Beginning.

 

 

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Mark and Brooke Krekeler (RZ-2022-640), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on September 22, 2022, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
