Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 5553, dated October 4, 2021, the Legislature authorized the award of a contract for the design and construction of a new bridge in connection with Federal Project No. BRO-B048(59), Stoenner Road Bridge, County Project No. 3247, to Anderson Engineering, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $98,100.00; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works now recommends the execution of the attached Supplemental Agreement to the agreement with Anderson Engineering, Inc., to allow for the implementation of a new design plan for the Stoenner Road Bridge at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $16,500.00; and,

WHEREAS, this additional cost has been approved by MoDOT and will be fully paid with additional federal funds; and,

WHEREAS, the execution of this Supplemental Agreement is in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
