Body
WHEREAS, Beazer East, Inc., has requested an easement across a portion of the Rock Island Rail Corridor property located 6740 Stadium Drive, in Kansas City, to allow for the installation of permanent, non-exclusive access easement; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks + Rec recommends the County Executive be authorized to execute the attached permanent easement in favor of Beazer East, Inc., to allow Beazer to access its adjacent property; and,

WHEREAS, the granting of the requested easement will not impact the rail corridor or park operations, as the area is currently undeveloped and not planned for future trail use; and,

WHEREAS, Beazer East, Inc., has agreed to pay the County easement and processing fees required by the County Code, totaling $11,302.00, and,

WHEREAS, the execution of the attached easement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
