AN ORDINANCE transferring $190,000.00 within the 2022 County Improvement Fund, appropriating $950,000.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2022 Grant Fund, and authorizing the County Executive to execute a Program Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.

Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a reimbursement grant by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission under the Federal Lands Access Program, in the amount of $760,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the grant proceeds and the required $190,000.00 in local matching funds will be used for the repair and overlay of 2.5 miles of roadway and parking areas at Blue Springs Lake; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation and transfer are necessary in order to place the grant and matching funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer and appropriation be and hereby are made:

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
