Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids by Invitation to Bid No. 42-22 for the furnishing of security services for use by the Parks + Rec Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of two hundred and fifty five notifications were distributed and one bid was received and evaluated from Homeland Security Protective Services of Kansas City (Clay County), Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bid submitted, the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Parks + Rec recommend award to Homeland Security Protective Service of Kansas City, MO, as the lowest and best bid received; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the issuing spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
