Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals on Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 40-22 for the furnishing of and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for use by the Public Works Department in connection with the old Division 50/new Division 1 courtroom renovation project at the downtown Courthouse; and,

WHEREAS, a total of 2,552 notifications were distributed, and three responses were received and evaluated from the following:

and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Public Works recommend the award of a contract for the furnishing of these items to John A. Marshall Co. of Lenexa, KS, under the terms and conditions of RFP No. 40-22, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best proposal; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
