Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department's Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake has a continuing need of pro shop articles for resale; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.6, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing requests authorization for the purchase of these articles from Acushnet/Titleist and FootJoy of Fairhaven, MA, and Callaway Golf of Carlsbad, CA; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Purchasing has determined that the items to be purchased are proprietary articles not available in a competitive market; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County twelve-month term and supply contracts, with three twelve-month options to extend, for the purchase of pro shop articles for resale by the Parks + Rec Department, with Acushnet/Titleist and FootJoy of Fairhaven, MA, and Callaway Golf of Carlsbad of CA, as proprietary purchases; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any other documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
