WHEREAS, the Facilities Management section of the Public Works Department has experienced budgetary shortfalls in its accounts relating to water and sewer services for the Jackson County Detention Center; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is required to pay the cost of these services through the end of the year; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2021 General Fund be and hereby is made:
