Body
WHEREAS, for the past several months, the County Administration and members of the Legislature and legislative staff have been working diligently with the County’s detention center consultant, JCDC Partners, to develop a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) for Design-Build firms interested in bidding on the design and construction of the new Jackson County Detention Center project; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature understands that the RFQ has been completed and is ready for issuance; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby requests the County Administration to issue the RFQ for Design-Build firms interested in bidding on the design and construction of the new Jackson County Detention Center project as soon as possible.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
